Nikon S570 Vs Nikon S560

Increased megapixels, decreased thickness differentiate the Coolpix S570

The Nikon S570 is the latest model in the Coolpix series released by Nikon and it's a strong successor to the Nikon S560. The S560 was released August of 2008 and coming out just a year later, the Nikon S570 shows some nice improvements.

One of the most subtle changes in the Nikon S570 is that it is smaller and sleeker than the s560. The s570 is a nimble 120 grams, almost a 10% reduction from the previous digital camera. What's more, the Nikon s570 is a millimeter thinner and a millimeter shorter, making it a little more compact and easy to store in your pocket.

The other major differences with the Nikon S570 and the S560 are all minor. A red color option has been added and the directional pad has been replaced with a round controller. The biggest change is the upping from 10 megapixels to 12 megapixels but at these numbers, it doesn't effect to much with the digital camera.

However, what is great with the Nikon S570 and the S560 is that Nikon has kept the affordable price, as both digital cameras come in under $200.
